Job summary

Churchill Mortgage in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Loan Processor to review mortgage loan applications, verify documents, and coordinate with lenders to move files toward closing. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and at least 5 years of mortgage processing experience.

Must work during Central Time business hours. The position offers a base salary with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent mortgage processing experience.
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage regulations, underwriting guidelines, and industry standards.
• High school diploma or GED; related residential mortgage lending process experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze mortgage loan applications submitted by borrowers.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of borrower documents (income statements, tax returns, credit reports, employment verification).
• Communicate with borrowers to request additional documentation needed for the loan application.
• Provide guidance to loan officers to collect required documentation and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with underwriters to address conditions for loan approval.
• Enter and update borrower information and loan details in the mortgage processing system.
• Manage and prioritize a pipeline of mortgage applications to meet processing timelines and closing deadlines.
