Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English for internal and external customers.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• Working knowledge of RESPA, Reg Z and Reg B and related loan documents.
• Encompass experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower credit, income, and assets for underwriting.
• Assemble the loan package in underwriting order with complete documentation.
• Verify required documentation and pre-underwrite file accuracy.
• Prepare loan approval summaries and forms (1008/1003) with accurate data.
• Communicate with Loan Originator, customer, and underwriter to obtain missing items.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage regulations and disclose requirements.
• Coordinate vendor orders (survey, title, payoff) and verify invoices.
• Manage pipeline and assist set-up of loans; support closing and servicing as needed.
• Train and supervise junior processors and processing staff.
