Job summary

Latino Community Credit Union in Charlotte, NC seeks a Member Service Representative II to deliver quality front-line service, including opening and maintaining accounts and providing basic loan information. The role combines member service with sales, training the team, and supporting teller duties about half the time.

You will interact with members to identify needs, offer financial solutions, and promote deposit products while maintaining knowledge of all credit union services and policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2 years’ related/office experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately count, handle cash, calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and interest.
• Ability to proactively solve problems and propose appropriate solutions to members.
• Aptitude for building relationships, and quality member service and sales.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and promote the credit union and its products and services.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software, including email functions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 35 pounds in coin or currency.

Responsibilities

• Member Service & Sales: Provide a positive member experience through new memberships, account openings, and solutions to build fully engaged relationships.
• Identify needs, recommend solutions, promote LCCU products, and educate members.
• Handle establishment of new memberships and wide range of transactions.
• Perform Teller I duties as needed and support member requests in person or by phone.
