Job summary

Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics is seeking a full-time Bilingual Scheduler to join our outpatient clinic network in the greater Houston area. The Scheduler will check-out patients, schedule procedures, and coordinate pre-authorization and transportation as needed, while ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and at least 6 months of experience in a medical office scheduling setting, with strong Microsoft Office and eCW skills and the ability

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months of experience in a medical office scheduling setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and eCW.

Responsibilities

• Check-out patients and coordinate scheduling of procedures.
• Follow-up to obtain documentation and authorizations.
• Schedule and reschedule follow-ups and procedures.
• Coordinate transportation for procedure patients as needed.
• Provide patients with information and pre-procedure instructions.
• Handle patient inquiries via phone and other channels.
• Maintain patient records and daily logs.
• Submit information for pre-authorization and ensure form accuracy.
