Job summary

Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics is seeking a full-time Scheduler to join our outpatient team in the Houston area. The Scheduler will check-out patients, understand their needs, and organize and schedule procedures promptly, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation when needed, verifying authorizations, updating patient data, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Six (6) months of experience in a medical office scheduling setting.

Responsibilities

• Check-out patients and schedule procedures.
• Coordinate transportation for procedure patients as needed.
• Update patient information in database.
• Send prescriptions to pharmacy by fax or email.
• Follow-up on no-shows or cancellations.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
