Job summary

Quantum Pain and Orthopedics is seeking a full-time bilingual Scheduler to join our team in Texas. The role focuses on checking-out patients and organizing and scheduling procedures promptly while ensuring necessary authorizations are obtained.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, providing patients with instructions, following up on no-shows, and processing documentation in the electronic medical records system (eCW). Prior scheduling experience in a medical office is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in a medical office scheduling setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-out patients and schedule procedures.
• Verifies authorizations prior to scheduling.
• Coordinate transportation for procedure patients as needed.
• Send prescriptions to pharmacy via fax or email.
• Update daily logs for office visits and confirmed procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
