Job summary

Momentum Spine and Joint is seeking a full-time bilingual Scheduler to organize and schedule procedures based on patient needs. The role requires coordinating with patients, departments, and providers to ensure timely care.

The Scheduler will manage follow-ups, rescheduling, transportation coordination, documentation in eCW, and pre-authorization processes while maintaining HIPAA privacy and high service standards. Travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience scheduling procedures and coordinating patient visits.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with parties regarding patient and procedure details.
• Schedules and reschedules follow-ups and procedures.
• Follows up on canceled or no-show patients.
• Coordinates transportation for procedure patients as needed.
• Ensures forms, scans and files are in patient docs in eCW.
• Obtains and updates authorizations prior to scheduling.
• Provides patients with information and instructions before procedures.
• Updates daily log of patient visits and procedures.
• Submits information to verification for pre-authorization.
• Sends prescriptions to pharmacy via fax or email.
• Answers phone and handles inquiries.
• Monitors documents and prescriptions under RX folder.
• Manages filing and record-keeping.
• Reports statistics as required.
• Protects privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Willing to travel between facilities as needed.
