Job summary

Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics in the Greater Houston area is seeking a full-time Scheduler to join our outpatient team. The Scheduler will check-out patients, understand needs, and coordinate scheduling of procedures with attention to patient privacy and documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least six months of medical office scheduling experience, strong MS Office and eCW skills, and can travel between locations as needed. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Six months of medical office scheduling experience.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office and eCW.
• Excellent communication with patients.
• Ability to travel between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Check-out patients and verify scheduling needs.
• Schedule or reschedule follow-ups and procedures.
• Coordinate transportation for procedure patients.
• Send prescriptions to pharmacy via fax or email.
• Maintain patient records and update daily logs.
• Ensure pre-authorizations are obtained.
