Job summary

Momentum Spine and Joint is seeking a dedicated Scheduler (Bilingual Scheduler) to efficiently organize and schedule procedures based on patient needs. The role involves coordinating follow-ups, handling authorizations, and ensuring accurate documentation in eCW.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of medical office scheduling experience, with strong Microsoft Office and patient service skills. Some travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of experience in medical office scheduling setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and/or reschedules patient follow-ups and procedures.
• Follows-up on all canceled or no-show patients.
• Coordinates transportation for procedure patients if needed.
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of patient forms in eCW.
• Verifies authorizations prior to scheduling procedures.
• Relays information to patients before procedure date.
• Updates daily log for patient office visits and confirmed procedures.
• Sends prescriptions to pharmacy by fax or email.
• Answers telephone and handles inquiries.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
