Job summary

Padilla Freight Solutions is seeking a dependable Brokerage Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator for our Laredo, Texas office. The role coordinates and monitors freight from pickup through delivery while keeping drivers, carriers, and customers informed with timely updates.

The ideal candidate handles multiple loads in a fast-paced environment, communicates proactively about delays, and maintains organized records. Bilingual English/Spanish is required and the position is fully in-office.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience in transportation, trucking, dispatch, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple loads, drivers, deadlines and priorities.
• Comfortable communicating by telephone, text, and email.
• Experience with TMS, load tracking, or GPS platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate loads from pickup through final delivery.
• Communicate load information, appointments, addresses, references, and instructions to drivers and carriers.
• Track and monitor active loads daily.
• Obtain driver status updates, locations, and ETAs.
• Confirm drivers arrive for pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain load notes and status updates in the system.
• Escalate service issues to management as needed.
• Provide professional communication with drivers, customers, and team.
