Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Boca Raton, FL to support the Documentation Office with daily operational tasks, coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, and communicate status to customers. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, supply chain, transportation, or a related field.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing shipping information and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the Documentation Office team with daily operational and administrative needs
• Coordinate with freight forwarding vendors regarding cargo shipments and delivery timelines
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and expected arrival times
• Handle and help resolve shipping or delivery issues as they arise
• Verify inputs received from internal suppliers and outputs prior to delivery to internal customers
• Identify potential nonconformance issues, stop the process when necessary, and immediately notify a supervisor
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation
