Job summary

5th HQ in New York is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to coordinate shipments, generate packing lists, and maintain accurate shipping records.

You will work with brokers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, resolve discrepancies, and support audits while maintaining regulatory-compliant documentation and delivering excellent customer service.

Experience in logistics or supply chain and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; logistics coursework preferred
• Experience in inventory management or warehouse logistics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); databases a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Customer service mindset
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Background in regulated industries (pharma/healthcare/engineering) a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipments with brokers and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate with internal and external customers to align shipment pickup schedules
• Prepare packing lists and shipping documentation per customer specs
• Track shipments and resolve inventory or shipping discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and shipping requirements
• Maintain records of inventory movements and support audits
• Collaborate with logistics, sales, and manufacturing teams to fulfill orders
• Respond to inquiries with timely shipment updates
• Support continuous improvement to reduce costs
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor
