Job summary

Carter Mario PC is seeking a Litigation Case Manager to support attorneys and provide world-class client service. You will use case management software to track case information, follow CT Civil Procedure timelines, and adhere to firm SOPs.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload, preparing trial files, maintaining calendars, drafting filings, and ensuring timely communications with clients and courts.

Qualifications

• College degree in legal studies or equivalent experience.
• Paralegal certification or equivalent experience.
• Strong legal document handling and correspondence skills.
• Spanish language professional communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of litigation cases.
• Prepare trial files, exhibits, and scheduling of expert witnesses.
• Prepare mediation and arbitration notebooks.
• Update case information with liens, medical treatments, and correspondence.
• Maintain litigation calendar with depositions, pre-trials, and trial dates.
• Draft summons, discovery, motions, and notices to produce.
• Ensure timely filing of complaints and respect deadlines.
