Job summary

Custodio & Dubey LLP (CD Law) in Los Angeles seeks a bilingual English/Spanish Litigation Associate Attorney to represent tenants in habitability claims. You will manage your own caseload, communicate with Spanish-speaking clients, and collaborate with senior trial attorneys on complex cases.

This full-time, hybrid role offers hands-on courtroom experience, mentorship, and competitive compensation: base salary $130,000–$140,000 with a discretionary bonus and projected total compensation

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish (required).
• Active California Bar license.
• Minimum 1 year civil litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage own caseload and meet deadlines.
• Experience in habitability/tenant litigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage habitability litigation from intake to resolution.
• Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking clients, including consultations and updates.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Take depositions, negotiate settlements, and prepare cases for trial.
• Appear at hearings and coordinate with opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and staff on litigation strategy.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide compassionate representation.
