Job summary

American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. is seeking a Leasing Agent in Roswell, GA to be the primary sales representative for prospective residents and drive occupancy through consultative selling and lease conversions.

Responsibilities include engaging with potential tenants, presenting housing options, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with leasing laws. Weekend availability and a valid real estate license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State Real Estate License required.
• Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer-facing sales experience required.

Responsibilities

• Drives leasing performance by responding to inquiries from prospective residents and following up.
• Engages with potential tenants, offering housing options to encourage applications.
• Skillfully negotiate lease terms and explain leases and related documents to new tenants.
• Performs leasing activities in accordance with applicable laws to maximize occupancy.
• Collaborate with underwriting and leasing teams to navigate applicants through the leasing journey.
• Stay informed about company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
