Job summary

The RMR Group in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Leasing Consultant to act as the property's sales representative, supporting leasing, retention and occupancy goals while delivering an exceptional resident experience.

The ideal candidate builds relationships, plans events and takes initiative to meet the community's day-to-day needs, with a focus on customer service and compliance with Fair Housing, ADA and related laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for residents, employees and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Bi-lingual abilities may be required based on property needs.
• Experience with YARDI software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and present property features and benefits.
• Follow company policies and applicable housing, ADA and legal requirements.
• Manage leasing paperwork and renewals; assist with reports and surveys.
• Maintain resident files and move-ins/outs with accuracy.
• Plan resident activities and support daily operations.
