The Leasing Consultant at The RMR Group LLC is the property's sales representative who supports leasing, retention and occupancy goals. This role emphasizes customer service and building relationships with current and prospective residents, planning events, and taking initiative to meet daily property needs.

The ideal candidate will proactively greet residents, present property features, assist with lease processes, and contribute to a positive resident experience across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior leasing and/or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with residents, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc.
• Excellent attendance is a requirement of the position.
• Excellent customer service.
• Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Bi-lingual abilities may be required based on property needs.
• Preferred software experience: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, YARDI.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and present features and benefits of the property.
• Conduct business in accordance with policies and laws pertaining to multi‑family housing.
• Enforce policies and procedures outlined in manuals.
• Maintain a professional and friendly leasing center atmosphere.
• Inspect models and market readies for quality appearance.
• Relay incoming calls to appropriate contacts.
• Understand local competition and monitor market trends.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Manage guest cards until a resident selects a home.
• Report property deficiencies to the Property Manager.
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly reports and resident communications.
• Maintain Resident Files per policy.
• Process Leasing Applications per guidelines.
• Oversee Lease Renewal Program to optimize renewals.
• Exhibit excellent customer service.
• Plan and oversee resident activities with the Property Manager.
