Speed Queen Baton Rouge / Stroud Laundry is hiring a Customer Service Representative (laundry attendant) to support daily store operations, assist customers with payment systems, machine selection, wash/dry/fold orders, and ensure a clean, safe, and friendly environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to handle multiple tasks, and a willingness to work nights and weekends; bilingual Spanish speakers may receive a pay differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry products and payment systems is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with payment systems, machine selection and operation, sales, and wash/dry/fold orders.
• Maintain store safety by following security procedures and prioritizing safety.
• Keep store clean and well-maintained; follow cleaning routines and document completion.
• Report equipment or building maintenance issues to supervisors as needed.
• Present retail products clearly; educate customers and encourage add-on purchases.
• Provide consistent wash/dry/fold quality and address customer concerns promptly.
• Follow all company policies and procedures at all times.
