Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking a bilingual IT Field Technician for full-time, direct hire in the Elizabeth, NJ area. The role involves leading Retail Services initiatives, coordinating a retail team, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include daily travel among stores, on-site troubleshooting, hardware/software installations, and training staff on applications and peripherals. English/Spanish fluency is required.

Qualifications

• College degree in IT or equivalent certifications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of network hardware, data communications basics, Cat5-Cat6, RJ45.
• Proficient with MS Office and Windows environments.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and travel daily to stores.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact for support issues at all stores.
• Travel daily between stores in Elizabeth Passaic area.
• Process service tickets, train customers on applications and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot on-site hardware/software problems and installations.
• Assist stores with desktop apps, network equipment, and SAP/Office software.
• Provide store training on hardware and software usage.
• Collaborate with team to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Keep knowledge of retail systems and procedures up to date.
