Harvey Nash is seeking an IT support specialist to operate across multiple retail stores in Elizabeth, Newark, and Perth Amboy. The role requires daily travel within New Jersey to troubleshoot desktops, networks, software, and hardware, and to train staff on applications and wireless peripherals.

The candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and English, possess a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle, and have the ability to lift and handle hardware.

• Act as the first point of contact for support issues across various retail stores.
• Daily travel between stores in Elizabeth, Newark, and Perth Amboy (NJ) is required.
• Handle service tickets and work logs, troubleshooting desktops, networks, software and hardware.
• Train employees on applications and wireless peripherals.
• Elevate complex issues to the appropriate team members.
• Perform hardware and software installations.
• Assist with troubleshooting desktop applications, network equipment and Zebra handhelds/printers.
• Physical capability to lift and handle hardware.

Location: Elizabeth, Newark, and Perth Amboy (NJ)

Duration: Full-time

Requirements

Bilingual (Spanish and English) and must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle, with toll and parking expenses also covered. Please note that 10 miles will be deducted per day to account for the commute from home to office and back).

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for support issues across various retail stores.
• Daily travel between stores in the mentioned areas is required.
• Handle service tickets and work logs, including troubleshooting issues related to desktops, networks, software, and hardware.
• Train employees on various applications and wireless peripherals.
• Elevate complex issues to the appropriate team members.
• Perform hardware and software installations.
• Assist with troubleshooting desktop applications, network equipment (routers, switches, access points), and configuring Zebra handhelds and printers.
• Physical capability to lift and handle hardware (like cables, printers, monitors) is required.
