Job summary

Harvey Nash Inc. is seeking a Field Support Technician to support multiple retail locations in Elizabeth, Perth Amboy and Newark. The role requires daily travel, bilingual Spanish/English communication, and hands-on hardware/software troubleshooting.

You will install devices, train staff, and resolve issues related to desktops, networks, and printers while ensuring equipment is properly configured and maintained.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel daily between stores in the area.
• Ability to lift and handle hardware during setup and moves.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for support issues across multiple retail stores.
• Daily travel between stores is required.
• Handle service tickets and logs, troubleshoot desktops, networks, software and hardware.
• Train employees on applications and wireless peripherals.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Perform hardware and software installations.
• Assist with troubleshooting desktop apps, routers, switches and printers.
• Configure Zebra handhelds and printers; support network equipment.
