Gandara Center in Springfield, MA is seeking a bilingual Intake Coordinator to support client access and service coordination. The role reports to the Practice Manager and receives weekly supervision. It also requires the Coordinator to provide reports on intake utilization and protocols to improve service quality.

The Intake Coordinator will handle courteous customer service, ensure paperwork quality, respond to calls, and assist with translations as needed, enabling efficient client onboarding.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of billing practices and managed care
• Basic knowledge of scheduling
• Understanding of the population and information sensitivity

Responsabilidades

• Provide courteous and timely customer service.
• Adhere to Agency and program policies and procedures.
• Initiate and complete all administrative paperwork included in the Client Intake Packet.
• Ensure that intake paperwork meets quality assurance standards and is prepared for entry into the client chart.
• Respond to all intake calls and voicemails within two business days.
• Orient client to service availabilities, rights, and responsibilities.
• Ensure client ID is assigned, documented, and entered into databases and relevant systems.
• Provide guidance to any assigned support staff assisting with intake duties.
• Communicate with the Practice Manager when additional resources or support is needed.
• Assist with phone calls and translations as needed.
