Job summary

Markel is seeking a bilingual Customer Service Representative to be the first contact for insurance questions and deliver quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include resolving customer concerns, communicating clearly, and aiming for first contact resolution while staying current with procedures and guidelines. Remote work experience is a plus for this role at Markel.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish required
• Property/Casualty Insurance License required
• 2+ years of insurance sales/service experience
• Remote working experience a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work diligently to find resolution to customer concerns and escape to appropriate level when necessary.
• Convey information efficiently, effectively, and appropriately to meet the needs of the customer.
• Strive for first call resolution to provide 'best in class' service.
• CSRs stay current and knowledgeable of all procedures to meet department standards and guidelines
