Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a dynamic Business Development Consultant (Internal Wholesaler) to grow sales by proactively engaging financial advisors and field staff with innovative insurance solutions. You will build advisor relationships and drive growth through strategic outbound calling and consultative selling.

This role is a training platform for future field sales roles, supported by a proprietary, continuous training program.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of insurance or sales experience.
Proven success in proactive sales and cold calling.
College or University degree in a related field.
Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
LLQP designation (or in process) and familiarity with Salesforce/Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Well-organized, self-starter with high energy and creativity.

Responsibilities

Proactively make outbound calls to financial advisors, minimum 60 calls per day.
Gather intelligence on advisors’ practices to tailor solutions.
Optimize delivery of value-added products and advice; demonstrate merits of Manulife products.
Execute sales campaigns and identify top prospects with actionable plans.
Use Salesforce to maintain advisor profiles, track activity, and share leads.
