Job summary

BI Incorporated is seeking an ISAP Case Specialist to manage Intensive Supervision Appearance Program participants from entry to release under the DHS contract. The role involves coordinating case plans, transporting and verifying documents, and ensuring compliance with program rules.

You will work closely with participants, conduct interviews, arrange translation and access to legal services, and maintain detailed records while upholding confidentiality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of customer service or case management experience required.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to perform home visits.
• US citizenship required.
• Must live in the US 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and even temperament.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem solving ability.
• Ability to deal with multicultural contacts with sensitivity.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use the department’s software.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, coordinates, reviews and updates case management plans for ISAP participants.
• Maintains accurate and complete case records from entry to release.
• Conducts intake interview and orientation within contractual timeframes.
• Installs electronic monitoring equipment and monitors compliance.
• Assists participants with acquiring travel documents and maintains logs.
• Evaluates English proficiency to determine necessary resources.
• Coordinates translation services for ISAP participants.
• Connects participants with community resources (transport, medical, food, shelter, etc.).
• Supervises ISAP participants in Company offices.
• Establishes schedules for counseling, court appearances, and legal services access.
• Coordinates attendance at legal and cultural orientation sessions.
• Reviews service plans, conducts risk/needs assessments and writes progress reports.
• Reports program violations timely using established parameters.
• Conducts home visits to verify residences.
