Job summary

Toast seeks a Bilingual Hybrid Development Representative to drive the initial stage of our sales pipeline. You will consistently perform 100+ outreach activities daily, qualify prospects, and schedule meetings for Account Executives while working toward becoming an Account Executive.

You will operate in a hybrid environment in the United States, leveraging Vietnamese and English fluency to engage diverse businesses and advance through a structured 12–18 month development plan.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Vietnamese and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Goal of becoming a full-cycle Account Executive in a commissioned closing role.
• Self-discipline to hit ambitious daily activity goals and recover quickly from rejection.
• Actively seeks and applies feedback, while self-assessing performance for growth.
• Owns daily performance metrics and pipeline contributions with accountability.
• Maintains high customer empathy and resilience, handling rejection professionally.
• Shows critical thinking, curiosity, and quick problem-solving for prospect qualification.
• Excellent communication across high-volume calls and written outreach (email/social).
• Keeps meticulous organization to balance 100+ daily outreach activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outreach to prospective businesses to assess mutual fit for Toast’s platform.
• Complete at least 100 outreach activities daily (calls, emails, social touches).
• Host qualification calls to understand prospect needs and potential benefits of Toast.
• Schedule meetings for qualified prospects and hand off to Account Executives smoothly.
• Learn inbound/outbound methods and grow toward All-Bound SDR with AE progression.
