Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking a Technical Application Engineer to support HVAC sales and application engineering across the West Region, with Alpharetta, GA as a primary location. The role requires bilingual Korean/English communication with HQ and hands-on analysis, drawings review, and proposal preparation.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, has HVAC sales or app engineering experience, and is willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• BSME or equivalent technical degree required.
• HVAC industry experience in technical sales or application engineering essential.
• Fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal) mandatory for HQ communication.
• Overtime may be required to support urgent projects and deadlines.
• Domestic and international travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HVAC technical analysis and application support for sales opportunities and projects in the West Region.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure proper equipment application and design compliance.
• Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements (DOE, AHRI, UL, local codes).
• Prepare equipment proposals, system selections, and technical recommendations.
• Coordinate HQ communications, reporting, and root-cause analysis with engineering teams.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) with HQ and subsidiary engineering.
