Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking an HVAC Controls & System Integration Engineer to lead system integration testing, lab validation, and regulatory alignment for North American deployments. The role requires deep technical knowledge and ability to act as a liaison between North America and Global HQ in Korea, using Korean and English for clear communication.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in HVAC controls, strong debugging skills, and hands-on lab setup capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer field.
• 10+ years in HVAC controls, system integration, or related controls industry.
• Hands-on testing experience with system integration.
• Strong troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
• Experience with RS485, Modbus, BACnet protocols.
• Ability to set up lab environments including wiring and PCBA testing.
• Fluent Korean for HQ collaboration.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead system integration testing for HVAC control systems, gateways, and cloud platforms.
• Establish and manage lab environments to replicate field conditions.
• Analyze communication logs for root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with North America and Global HQ to validate control solutions.
• Provide pre-sales technical assessments and on-site evaluations.
• Develop technical documentation and training materials.
• Deliver product training to internal teams, reps, and partners.
