Job summary

LG Electronics in the United States is seeking an Area Technical Specialist to serve as a key technical resource for HVAC Contractors, Distributors, and Manufacturer Representatives. Responsibilities include providing expert technical guidance via phone and email, resolving escalated system issues, technical training, and ensuring customer satisfaction through case management.

The role involves interpreting wiring schematics, troubleshooting VRF systems, and coordinating jobsite visits.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years’ experience in HVAC or technical support
• 3–5 years' experience supporting LG VRF & RLC systems
• Travel up to 75%
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to troubleshoot deep service issues via phone and onsite

Responsibilities

• Develop regional service support strategies and actions
• Manage aftermarket support within assigned region
• Interact with building owners, general contractors, and service champions on technical matters
• Provide direct technical guidance via phone, email, and case support
• Read and interpret wiring schematics and VRF diagrams for customers
• Coordinate with Technical Support, Engineering and Controls teams to resolve escalated issues
• Schedule and conduct onsite service, training and installation support
• Review extended warranty submissions and ensure equipment functionality
