Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking an Area Technical Specialist to serve as a key technical resource for HVAC Contractors, Distributors, and Manufacturer Representatives. You will provide expert guidance via phone and email, resolve escalated issues, conduct training, and ensure customer satisfaction through case management.

You will interpret wiring schematics for VRF systems, coordinate with engineering and controls teams, and lead onsite visits to support LG sales channels and partners.

Qualifications

• HVAC diploma or degree preferred.
• 15–20 years’ HVAC or technical support experience.
• 3–5 years’ LG VRF/RLC technical support experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional service support strategies and actions.
• Manage aftermarket support within the assigned region.
• Interface with owners, general contractors, and service champions on technical matters.
• Provide technical guidance by phone, email, and case support for HVAC Contractors, Distributors, Manufacturer and Applied Reps.
• Read, understand, and interpret wiring schematics and refrigerant circuit diagrams to convey information to customers.
