Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking an experienced Area Technical Specialist to support HVAC contractors and partners across the region. You will interpret wiring schematics, troubleshoot VRF systems, and lead training across classroom and jobsite settings.

The role requires deep technical knowledge, travel up to 75%, and collaboration with engineering, controls, and sales teams to deliver timely resolutions and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC Diploma, Bachelor or Associate preferred.
• 15–20 years’ experience in HVAC field or in a technical support role.
• 3–5 years’ experience supporting LG VRF & RLC systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance by phone and email to HVAC Contractors, Distributors, and Reps.
• Read wiring schematics and refrigerant diagrams to convey information to customers.
• Coordinate with engineering and controls teams to resolve escalated field issues.
• Schedule onsite service, training and installation support for LG HVAC equipment.
