LaSalle Network is partnering with a client to hire a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist for an on-site role in Carol Stream, IL. The position balances employee relations, talent acquisition, and benefits administration within a multi‑shift manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree (or comparable experience), experience with OSHA compliance, and strong bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an associate degree with 5–8 years of manufacturing HR support.
• Experience supporting a multi‑shift, hourly/production workforce.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping and workplace safety compliance.
• Experience with workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work programs.
• Strong recruitment experience using ATS and sound interviewing practices.
• HRIS, background check portals and talent acquisition tools experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead site talent acquisition by sourcing candidates, interviewing, and coordinating onboarding.
• Oversee orientation and training to support integration and retention.
• Enforce HR policies and ensure compliance with employment and labor laws (FMLA).
• Administer benefits activities including enrollments and communications.
• Manage employee relations and conflict resolution to foster a positive work environment.
• Utilize HR systems for time, onboarding, payroll approvals, and benefits administration.
• Ensure HR compliance across workers’ compensation and OSHA reporting.
• Coordinate training and development to enhance skills and safety.
• Maintain confidentiality while supporting payroll processing and records.
• Support site change management initiatives.

This Bilingual Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day HR operations while helping drive a positive, compliant, and high‑engagement workplace for a multi‑shift manufacturing environment. Our client is looking for a steady, hands‑on HR professional who can balance employee relations, talent acquisition, and benefits administration while confidently navigating labor law, safety compliance, and HR systems. • Experience supporting a multi‑shift, hourly/production workforce.
• Working knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping and workplace safety compliance.
• Experience with workers’ compensation case management and return‑to‑work programs.
• Proven HR experience with strengths in talent management, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated recruiting expertise using ATS tools and sound interview practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel data analysis preferred) and HR systems (HRIS, background check portals, talent acquisition tools).
• Experience with performance evaluations, conflict management, and workplace injury procedures.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency (written and verbal) strongly preferred.
