Topaz HR is seeking a Human Resources Strategic Partner to align HR-DOL laws with client and company policies, draft key HR documents, and provide strategic guidance to clients. The role involves overseeing hiring and onboarding, creating onboarding plans, and offering insights on compliance and practical employee journey aspects.

Location is West Orange, NJ, with travel across New Jersey. The position is onsite, full-time, with 50% travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR Generalist/HRBP/HR Manager experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring and onboarding processes for clients.
• Draft onboarding plans and HR documents.
• Advise clients on best practices in hiring, compensation, culture, performance, benefits, disciplinary action, and leave management (FMLA, PFL, sick leave).
• Guide the onboarding process for client employees.
