Job summary

Aramark in Milford Township, Michigan is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and partner with site leadership. The role focuses on staffing, policies, compliance, and delivering high service levels through strong influence and execution.

You will develop proactive staffing plans, drive onboarding for hourly and salaried staff, coach managers in interviewing and performance reviews, and report HR metrics.

Qualifications

• HR planning and organizational development experience desired.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Minimum of 3 years HR experience.
• Bachelor Degree in Business Admin, HR or equivalent.
• Experience managing a union environment required.
• Employment relations experience including investigations and resolution development required.
• Proven ability to interact, communicate and consult with multiple levels of management regularly.
• Solid understanding of financial and business objectives and analytical/problem solving skills.
• Organized, able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Partners with operations to develop and execute a proactive staffing plan.
• Leads positive employee relations efforts.
• Develops and executes staffing plans and onboarding processes for hourly and salaried positions.
• Ensures compliance with corporate/district level policies and federal/state agencies and communicates benefits, policy and other HR changes.
• Trains and coaches management in interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, counseling, diversity, disciplinary and regulatory compliance.
• Participates with HR Team on corporate level projects.
• Manages and reports required HR business metrics (diversity, area labor market info, staffing).
• Maintains accurate information in electronic and paper employee records.
• Leads resolution of employee relations issues and conducts investigations as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
