Job summary

LM Restaurants, a family-owned restaurant company headquartered in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Bilingual HR Generalist to support payroll, HR operations, onboarding, and compliance from the Raleigh office. This full-time, in-office role requires five days on-site weekly and offers relocation assistance.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in HR/payroll, bilingual English/Spanish, and a Bachelor's degree; SHRM/HRCI certifications preferred.

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish required for onboarding, payroll, and HR documentation.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Strong communication and customer-service skills with employees and managers.
Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, or applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll for assigned locations with high accuracy.
Audit timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies with managers.
Maintain employee records in HRIS with accuracy and confidentiality.
Administer garnishments and coordinate with payroll and benefits teams.
Lead non-exempt recruiting for Home Office, including postings, screening, scheduling, and offers.
Coordinate temporary staffing placements for Home Office when needed.
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure paperwork and compliance are complete.
Assist restaurant hiring managers with applicant flow and recruitment coordination.
Facilitate onboarding including I-9 verification and HRIS setup.
