Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced HR Generalist II – Benefits & Payroll to join one of our clients in the Raleigh, NC area. This hands-on, highly visible HR role with significant responsibility for payroll, benefits administration, HR systems, compliance, employee support, and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years progressive HR experience with payroll/benefits.
• 5+ years benefits administration for 250+ employees.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel with reporting and analytics.
• Strong communication, confidentiality, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
• Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance and retirement plans.
• Serve as primary contact for payroll questions, benefits enrollment, and HR systems.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure data privacy and compliance.
• Coordinate audits and filings (401k, workers’ comp, payroll, benefits).
• Partner with Finance for reporting and budgeting related to payroll and benefits.
• Support benefits renewals and broker coordination.
• Provide training to managers and employees on payroll, benefits, and HR tech.
