Job summary

Medivant Healthcare is seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations across the organization. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and strong HR knowledge to support compliance and operations.

You will collaborate with leadership and staff to drive efficiency, maintain accurate HR records, and support benefits, training, and performance processes in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-6 years of HR Generalist experience including payroll processing.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, payroll processes, labor laws, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment: postings, screening, interview coordination, and offers.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, documentation, orientation, and system updates.
• Process payroll accurately and on time; review timesheets and coordinate with finance.
• Maintain employee records, HRIS, and personnel files with confidentiality.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR policies, benefits, payroll, and HR support.
• Support employee relations: address concerns, investigations, documentation, resolution.
• Assist in performance management: reviews, feedback tracking, development.
• Ensure compliance with policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with finance for payroll inputs, deductions, reporting.
• Support benefits administration: enrollments, changes, communications.
• Translate between English and Spanish as needed.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards, metrics for management review.
• Support training programs, employee engagement, HR projects.
• Assist with audits and maintain inspection-ready HR documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and HR best practices.
