Haco Culinary in Manteno, IL is seeking an HR Generalist who reports to the Corporate HR Director. You will handle benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, training, performance management and policy implementation.

You will manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt staff, process payroll-related tasks, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws. Spanish fluency is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year College or University; or 5-7 years related experience.
• Knowledge of Federal and California Wage and Hour and Employment Laws.
• Bilingual: Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong ethical values with global and cultural awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Mansioni

• Administer benefits plans, claims resolution, enrollment and billing.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
• Assist in open enrollment communications and eligibility verification.
• Coordinate COBRA and FMLA leaves.
• Conduct new-hire orientation and full-cycle recruitment.
• Process timekeeping and weekly payroll.
• Handle employee relations and exit interviewing.
• Maintain policy manuals and SOPs; support HR policy implementation.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation paperwork with insurer.
