Access to Healthcare Network (AHN) in Reno, Nevada is seeking a full-time Bilingual Health Resource Specialist to guide individuals and families to healthcare resources. The role involves referrals, scheduling, enrollment, and program orientations while maintaining HIPAA standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year in healthcare or social services, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare, social services, or patient services setting.
• Minimum one year of general office experience, including data entry, filing, customer service, and document management.
• Minimum two years of experience utilizing databases and software applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, providers, community partners, and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of office equipment and related troubleshooting; basic IT proficiency.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality and successfully pass a State of Nevada Screening.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
• An Associate Degree (AA) is preferred. Experience with medical billing, insurance benefits, or patient coordination is highly valued.

Aufgaben

• Respond to inquiries, process referrals, schedule appointments, enroll new members, and conduct program orientations.
• Help individuals understand eligibility requirements and available services.
• Provide support for Ryan White Eligibility and Patient Care Services programs.
• Monitor client participation and gather healthcare cost information.
• Coordinate payment processing and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize systems such as RingCentral, Salesforce, CAREWare, RWISE, and Ramsell while collaborating with coworkers and community partners.
• Ensure every client receives the highest level of service, support, and care.
