Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) seeks a part-time Health Navigator to support Nepali-speaking clients with culturally responsive case management, interpretation, and care coordination at the Aurora clinic. You will work with therapists to reduce stigma and improve access to behavioral health services for immigrants and refugees, serving as a cultural broker and advocate in a diverse community.

A Bachelor's degree is preferred; a high school diploma is required; bilingual fluency in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of direct service in human services/navigation preferred.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license required.
• Medical interpretation certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Fluent English and Nepali required.
• Experience serving refugee/immigrant communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide language interpretation to clients receiving behavioral health services.
• Deliver culturally responsive case management and care coordination.
• Assist with transportation and appointment reminders to improve attendance.
• Engage in outreach and health education for immigrant communities.
• Collaborate with therapists and other providers in a trauma-informed team.
• Support client engagement and advocacy within a diverse network of providers.
