Job summary

Legacy Community Health seeks a Bilingual Front Desk - Float for the East Region to be the welcoming heartbeat of our clinics. You’ll float across locations, greet patients, and ensure they’re attended to by the right staff.

You’ll handle data-entry, multi-line calls, and coordination with volunteers while supporting Legacy’s mission of accessible, compassionate care in diverse communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Pleasant, professional, articulate phone voice.
• Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
• Experience with multi-line phones or switchboards.
• Ability to multi-task and handle many calls/patients at once.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff.
• Welcome clients and ensure prompt attendance by staff.
• Accurately enter patient information into our systems.
• Support the volunteer coordinator in managing volunteers.
• Adhere to appointment and scheduling procedures.
• Process client payments following established cash handling procedures.
• Open and close duties as needed.
• Maintain a tidy, welcoming clinic lobby.
• Operate equipment and assist in safety practices.
