ER of White Rock is seeking a Lead Front Desk Specialist to oversee daily front desk operations in our emergency care setting. The role emphasizes patient-centered service, staff mentorship, and efficient administrative workflows.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), with 2–3 years’ supervisory experience in medical front desk roles and a strong command of EHR and practice management systems. BLS certification is required or obtained within 60 days.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required or preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in medical front desk or healthcare admin with supervisory experience.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Strong communication, organizational and conflict-resolution skills.
• Advanced proficiency with EHR and Practice Management systems; CMAA certification preferred.
• Experience in emergency/urgent care environment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily front desk operations and staffing coverage.
• Train and mentor front desk staff on protocols and tools.
• Escalate complex inquiries and resolve billing/service issues with empathy.
• Assist management with scheduling and process improvements.
• Greet patients, manage registrations, check-in/out, and inquiries.
• Verify demographics, insurance, collect co-pays, and update records per HIPAA.
• Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff for timely triage and care delivery.
• Maintain clean waiting areas and front desk supplies.
