Self-Help is seeking a Contact Center Specialist in North Carolina to provide exceptional member support by phone, email, and online portal. You will process home loan payments, assist with transactions, and cross-sell credit union products while addressing high-touch member needs with accuracy and care.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel if needed. Knowledge of Shortel and credit union policies is preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years customer service experience in a call center or retail operations environment.
• Able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Ability to sell products and services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word; Excel preferred.
• Strong math ability.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Knowledge of Shortel Phone Systems and Credit Union policies preferred.

• Provide direct member support via phone, email, or online portal.
• Process and assist with home loan payments and related transactions.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services when appropriate.
• Provide information on IRA accounts, loan products and collection activities.
• Address high-net-worth and high-touch member inquiries with tact and accuracy.
• Research inquiries to ensure follow-up and satisfaction.
• Assist members with online forms and electronic signatures.
• Handle portal questions and route to appropriate teams.
• Log calls per center protocols and travel to other locations as needed.
