Job summary

Monterra Credit Union in the Bay Area seeks a Financial Services Advisor to serve members with deposit, loan, and investment products. You will conduct interviews, profile member needs, and cross-service solutions.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, supporting business development, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws. A starting wage of $25.00–$31.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package are offered, with bilingual pay incentives and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of financial products and services required.
• Experience with lending processes, documentation, and DMV regulations preferred.
• Strong organization, analytical, interpersonal, service and communication skills.
• Ability to use PC Windows-based programs (Excel, Word, e-mail).

Responsibilities

• Assist members with all Credit Union products and services (deposits, loans, investments).
• Cross-service appropriate products to meet member financial needs.
• Process loan requests, including applications, documentation and disbursal; notify members if declined.
• Open memberships and various accounts (checking, money market, CDs, IRA, Trust) and handle related requests.
• Balance cash reserves and maintain security controls per policy.
• Support business development efforts within the community.
