Founders Federal Credit Union in Charlotte, NC seeks a Financial Services Representative to counsel and cross-sell members on banking services. The role focuses on opening new accounts, explaining products, and helping members manage their finances at multiple local offices.

The ideal candidate has two years in financial services or customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish applicants are strongly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a financial institution handling complex member issues or two years of customer service experience.
• Associate degree (2-year degree) required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with members.
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn new software as needed.
• Bilingual English/Spanish applicants strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and cross-sell members on all Founders services and loans.
• Open new accounts (Savings, checking, money management); assist with problems.
• Explain and cross-sell Call 24, Online Banking, Mobile Banking, eStatements, Visa cards, ATM cards.
• Establish share certificates and IRAs, counseling on features and benefits.
• Ensure loans are approved within Matrix Lending authority; seek higher approvals as needed.
