Job summary

H MART is seeking a dedicated Learning & Development trainer to deliver engaging on-site training for store staff across its network. You will fluently teach in English and Korean, with Spanish capabilities a plus, translating and localizing manuals and SOPs as needed to ensure clear understanding on the shop floor.

The role requires hands-on coaching, travel between locations, and collaboration with store managers to identify skill gaps and implement tailored programs that boost store

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fluency in English and Korean; Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• L&D or corporate training experience within retail, supermarket, or grocery industry.
• Experience establishing internal trainer programs to empower store managers and team leads.
• Highly mobile with ability to travel frequently; valid driver's license.
• Strong presentation and on-the-floor coaching skills; experience with ILT and virtual setups.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, deliver, and facilitate on-site training sessions for retail store employees and front-line staff across H Mart locations.
• Deliver training fluency in English and Korean; Spanish is a valued additional capability.
• Translate and adapt training manuals, safety guidelines, and SOPs between English and Korean (and into Spanish where needed).
• Use diverse learning methods at the store level, including hands-on coaching, job shadowing, and e-learning.
