Job summary

State of South Carolina is seeking an ES Eligibility Case Manager in the Economic Services Division. The role focuses on SNAP, TANF, ESAP, and SCCAP, with bilingual responsibilities for Spanish calls and document translations. A high school diploma and at least one year in Economic Services are required.

Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to perform field work. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for public service impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least one year of experience in Economic Services programs.
• Proficient in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conducts bilingual interviews for SNAP, TANF, ESAP, and renewals, in person and by phone.
• Processes SNAP/TANF/ESAP/SCCAP applications by determining eligibility and authorizing benefits when applicable.
• Maintains electronic case files with confidentiality and prepares documentation for audits and hearings.
