Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two years of office support with extensive public contact and decision making within procedural guidelines.
• Substitution of related coursework in human services for two years of experience may be allowed.
• Typing certificate: 35 wpm net, 5-minute test.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and determine eligibility under program policies.
• Process casework using automated systems and authorize benefits.
• Maintain organization and accuracy while managing multiple cases and deadlines.
• Provide referrals to health, human, or employment services as needed.
