Qualifications

• Trauma-informed interviewing approach with sensitivity to applicants' experiences.
• Ability to determine program eligibility for SNAP, LTC, TANF, ERDC, Medicaid and other health care programs.
• Strong attention to detail in data entry, documentation and eligibility determinations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants in-person and by phone to gather information for benefits.
• Perform eligibility determinations, redeterminations, and periodic reviews.
• Assist customers in-person and by phone who are applying for or receiving benefits.
• Communicate eligibility decisions to applicants clearly and timely.
• Provide person-centered services with trauma-informed approach to identify needs.
• Ensure accurate and timely eligibility determinations.
