Job summary

County of Marin seeks an experienced Eligibility Supervisor for Public Assistance, leading a team of Eligibility Workers in CalWORKS, CalFresh and Medi-Cal programs. The role requires strong supervision, training skills, and bilingual fluency in Spanish and English to support diverse clients.

The Hybrid schedule allows remote work with on-site meetings and disaster response duties. Candidates must navigate CalSAWS, MEDS, CalHEERS and related systems and collaborate across PA teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with CalWORKS, CalFresh and Medi-Cal eligibility programs.
• Strong supervisory and training abilities.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with PA units and partners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a unit of Eligibility Workers and organize their work.
• Develop and deliver trainings and program information to staff and stakeholders.
• Document work and improve service delivery with supervisors and teams.
• Regularly review staff performance and provide guidance to ensure high levels of performance and client service.
